You can browse through the constituent workbook (link below), and use it along with the power point shows with audio. You can also look at the recommended Potter Herbal (Williamson) in more detail and note what kinds of constituents are in some of your favorite herbs and what the herbs were typically used for.
You can go as deeply as you have time and interest for, and same these for future reference. Please at least try to watch the Introduction which will give you more ideas about the importance of chemistry for the herbalist, examples, and how the plants produce the amazing amount of active chemicals they do throughout their lives.The plant constituents reading and listening won’t be graded, it is for your interest and knowledge. I have found having a basic understanding of herbal chemistry has been valuable on many levels.
