False unicorn root is mainly known as a uterine tonic and is of value for leukorrea, menopause, and uterine prolapse. It is often an ingredient in formulas used to prevent miscarriage and to alleviate nausea during pregnancy, for which it is best to consult a qualified herbalist or health care practitioner before using.
